ANCESTRAS BY ROCIO

In a time when many feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to turn, the most powerful medicine may be to return inward — to the rhythm of your own breath, the warmth of your hands, and the ancient wisdom that lives in your heart.
Cacao invites us to slow down, soften, and remember. When we honor the dance between our inner feminine and masculine energies — between creation and clarity, presence and flow — life begins to move through us with purpose and beauty.
All are welcome.
Join Rocío Cervantes and a heart-centered circle for a one-day ceremonial cacao retreat — a journey into ritual, embodiment, and ancestral remembering.
You’ll move between earth and spirit through ancestral techniques, sacred crafting, and energetic awakening — all anchored in the heart-opening wisdom of cacao.

CRAFT CEREMONIAL CACAO FROM BEAN TO PASTE
Learn the sacred process our ancestors used to create ceremonial cacao
Learn the ancestral process of transforming cacao into sacred medicine — a hands-on ritual to deepen your connection with this heart-opening plant.
GROUND INTO PRESENCE WITH BREATH
We begin our day by arriving fully into the body. I will guide a short, grounding breathwork practice to help settle the nervous system, open the heart, and create space for intentional presence. This gentle session invites you to land — physically, emotionally, and energetically — before we step into creation.
Using ancestral tools such as the metate (stone grinder), just as our ancestors prepared cacao for ceremony and nourishment.

“There was an abundance of delicious food in those villages called Paxil and Cayalá. There were foods of every kind... abundant also in pataxte [Theobroma bicolor] and cacao [Theobroma cacao]…”
— Popol Vuh, translated by Allen J. Christenso

CRAFTING CEREMONIAL CACAO
Step into an ancestral ritual of creation and connection. In this gathering, we return to the roots of cacao by crafting it together on the metate, the traditional stone tool used for thousands of years. This is more than a cacao ceremony; it is an embodied, communal experience that blends tradition, meditation, and shared presence.
What We’ll Do
Use a simple bullet list or short paragraph:
-
Learn the ancestral art of hand-grinding cacao on the metate.
-
Craft ceremonial cacao paste together as a community.
-
Share the cacao we prepare in meditation.
-
Take home your own portion of ceremonial-grade cacao paste for future ritual.
What to Bring
-
Comfortable clothing; bring layers for the evening.
-
Optional: ceremonial items you feel connected to.
-
Optional: fresh flowers for the altar.
-
Bring an open heart and readiness to co-create.
Come be part of this living tradition. Together, we will honor cacao as medicine, reconnect with ancestral wisdom, and share in the beauty of community.

About
I’m Rocío, a transformation coach, artist, and ceremonialist.
I work with people ready to reconnect to themselves, whether through ritual, creative practice, or deep, honest coaching.
Some know they’re walking with their ancestors. Others just know something has to change.
I meet each person where they are — on a couch, in ceremony, or in the creative process — and guide them back to their truth.
This is healing through presence, beauty, and radical authenticity.
